So, where did Colorado Springs rank? Surprising, this city, with a population of 436,108, ranked higher overall than Denver did. It ranked 11th for property crime, sixth for violent crime and seventh overall. Denver, with a population of 648,981, ranked eighth overall, but second in violent crime. What city ranked number one overall as the most violent city in Colorado? Pueblo, with a population of 108,062, did.
